MICHELLE’S MISSION

Michelle was known for her compassion and drive to help all those around her. She graduated from Lewis University with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology, completed her master’s in Criminal Justice at the University of New Haven, and had dreams of completing a doctorate.

During her studies and beyond Michelle worked at the Rowan Center, obtaining certifications and training to counsel sexual assault victims. Michelle also joined Hang Time, where she spent her time meeting with and empowering individuals previously involved with the legal system on their reintegration journeys. Michelle lived as a crisis advocate, a justice advocate, and as a policy advocate.

Today, with Michelle’s memory ever-present in our hearts, we honor her legacy by empowering organizations and individuals who provide essential services to domestic abuse survivors and promote education on abuse awareness and prevention.
